What Does Therapy Look Like?
Many children come to us after struggling for YEARS in school. Our goal is to make a safe place for them to learn and improve their reading skills without fear of judgement, or failure.
Many of the children we work with have "holes" in their reading skills they may have even learned to compensate for over the years. Our job is to find where those "holes" are and provide them with instruction where they need it while keeping it FUN and ENGAGING! We teach reading and spelling concepts directly and explicitly in a multisensory way to help increase memory of use of their new skills!
